Cloud Shared Hosting

WireSix's Cloud Shared Hosting is powered by cPanel running on top of our OnApp Cloud 3.0 platform. This ensures maximum uptime and high availability of user resources. The base Operating System is Cloud Linux which also gives limits to customers to allow each Cloud Shared Hosting customer equal access to resources. Normal cPanel servers not running on Cloud Linux allows a single user to overwhelm the server and bring everyone down if they were to get a sudden influx of traffic. Our Cloud Linux solution eliminates this risk by segregating resources per user to ensure equal and fair access to the system by all websites on the shared server.

What is Shared Hosting? Put simply hosting a website on a dedicated server is expensive and you may never use 1% of the resources that one could provide. Shared hosting splits the resources of a single dedicated server or cloud server across many subscribers. This way spreads the costs across the customer base while giving you just enough to run your website without over paying. Our cloud solution even brings cloud reliability into the equation by creating large cloud servers and sharing it across many customers. Most importantly the customer saves money on resources they do not need while at the same time gaining the reliability of the cloud.

Our Cloud is powered by enterprise hardware featuring Intel E5-2600 Series CPU's and SAS Drives. Our network is powered by Cisco and Brocade switches and routers with uplinks to a diverse set of network providers such as Level 3, TW Telecom, Hurricane Electric, and Cogent. All servers feature gigabit uplinks with no throttling of your network speeds. Each Server is also monitored 24x7 and housed in a SAS Type II certified facility with multiple entry challenge points and Video Monitoring.
